Inclusion in the RPG hobby, there are times when we are not doing our best at welcoming others into awesome world of role-playing games. Even when interacting with people of other genders, ethnicity, etc, we can say the wrong thing without even being aware of the fact. Of course there are people that consciously choose to facilitate a level of discomfort, and even hostility towards ‘outsiders’. Be it the debate over geek girls, gawking at women, considering anything non-white flesh tone as not ‘normal’ color, lack of representation within the artwork of rpgs, and more, we need to be better and we need your help. We know you’re above all this negative nonsense.

In this episode we’re not here to reprimand anyone. It is not to debate on whether there is a problem or not. It’s to bring awareness to the fact that there are others that not only feel excluded from our awesome hobby, but, as previously mentioned, have actually had one of our own be outwardly hostile to them. We simply ask that you be aware of how we interact with others and to embrace newcomers into our hobby no matter the differences between us. If you witness something that may detract from bringing someone into our fold, the hobby, be sure to say something. Squash it! As cliché is it may sound, together we can truly make a difference.
