Sanity. Some games have it, some games don’t. We certainly don’t. We even touch on having some fun as a Keeper, Game Master, DM when you want your player’s character to start losing it. Aside from Call of Cthulhu how do you use sanity in your rpg?
Dragons! They are ancient creatures of legend causing fear in player characters throughout the years. Claw, claw, tail, bite attacks. “Save versus breath weapon” and the feeling of impending doom sets in as you pick up the d20, rolling it inside your fist before you close your eyes and toss it upon the gaming table.
However! It seems that dragons have lost their luster. Are they feared in today’s adventures?

It could be as easy as saying, “seriously? you want to name your character Peeneel Testiclees? No.” Or, you could roll with it and make it something you handle within the game.
